PROJECT OVERVIEW
Industrial revival shaped through clarity and fluidity
Designed as a 6,000 sq ft office in Turbhe, Mumbai for Sony DADC, the space reimagines a post-fire industrial shell into a refined corporate environment.
An open plan with fluid zoning balances minimal corporate aesthetics with exposed textures, while customised workstations replace cabins to define hierarchy within a dynamic, layered spatial experience.
RECEPTION & VISITORS LOUNGE
Transitional entry with understated impact
The reception acts as a transitional threshold, seamlessly leading into the visitors lounge while maintaining openness across the volume.
A white-washed exposed brick backdrop displays the company’s portfolio as framed graphic art, adding identity within a calm, industrial setting.
WORKSTATIONS
Central planning with organic interaction flow
Seventy-five workstations are organised along a central core, breaking linear monotony through an organic spine that promotes interaction and circulation.
MANAGERIAL ZONES
Layered hierarchy within an open framework
Mid-level managers occupy the rear with bespoke C-shaped workstations enhanced by natural light from the periphery.
Senior zones are defined through semi-open capsules with half walls and freestanding consoles, balancing privacy with openness.
CEO CABIN
Transparent leadership with curated personality
The CEO cabin is conceived as a transparent volume, reflecting openness while subtly expressing individuality.
Casual seating, a quirky credenza, and refined detailing create a balanced environment that merges authority with a relaxed, contemporary tone.
MEETING & CONFERENCE ROOMS
Peripheral planning with transparency and light
Private spaces are arranged along the periphery to maximise natural light and maintain visual clarity.
Glass partitions with black aluminium grids define these zones, reinforcing the industrial language while ensuring openness and functional separation.
Exposed ducts, white-painted brick walls, and structural elements establish a raw industrial framework.
Freestanding consoles within column grids and minimal accessories soften the environment, creating a balanced expression of corporate restraint and industrial authenticity.
